Shipping Designed for Clarity, Care, and Protection

At Belanger – The Collections, shipping is designed around clarity, care, and protection. We coordinate professional packing and insured transport with trusted logistics providers under our Belanger Shipping Protocols so you can collect with confidence.

What You Can Expect

  • Typical delivery window (7–21 days): Most orders arrive within 7–21 days from purchase, reflecting careful preparation, appointment-based pickup, and carrier scheduling. (Operational timing excludes weekends and official holidays.)
  • Museum-grade packing: Professional, custom-fit materials designed to protect your piece end-to-end.
  • Full-value insurance: Every shipment is insured for the purchase price for peace of mind.
  • Milestone emails & tracking: Track the journey from pickup to delivery with status updates.
  • Signature on delivery: Secure hand-off to protect your investment at the last mile.
  • White-glove options: Installation and specialized handling available on request for qualifying destinations.

Note: Remote areas, severe weather, customs, or peak-season volume may extend timelines. Delivery windows are targets, not guarantees, and we’ll keep you informed at every step.

Quality and Transparency

All shipments follow our strict protocols. We supervise each stage and remain your single point of contact until delivery is complete.

  • Professional packing: Carrier-approved, artwork-specific protection (flat, tube, crate as appropriate).
  • Carrier selection: Services matched to your artwork’s value, dimensions, and fragility.
  • Pre-dispatch checks: Condition verification and documentation before hand-off.
  • Issue resolution: We coordinate directly with carriers if anything interrupts transit.

International Shipping

Some artworks are available for international shipping outside the United States through reputable carriers. Transit times depend on destination, service level, and customs processing. White-glove services and installation may be available in select locations.

Customs and Import Fees

Artworks mainly ship from the United States, and in some cases from Canada or Europe. Duties, taxes, and import fees are assessed by the destination country and are the recipient’s responsibility. When available, estimates may be shown at checkout; final amounts are set by your local customs authority. For U.S.–Canada shipments, USMCA rules may apply depending on the work and origin.

On Arrival: Inspection & Claims

Please inspect packaging upon delivery. If an item appears damaged or not as described, retain all packaging materials and photograph the exterior, interior, and artwork immediately. Contact us right away so we can file a claim and act under our Art Collectors Protection Program (exchange or refund where applicable).
