Payment

Payments are processed securely via Stripe™. For added protection, transactions may be subject to routine verification under our Art Collectors Protection Program. If a legitimate issue arises with your order, Belanger – The Collections may reverse or reimburse your payment in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

You are eligible for a full refund if:

The artwork differs from its description (e.g., dimensions, medium).
The artwork arrives damaged prior to delivery completion.
Other legitimate concerns as determined by Belanger – The Collections.

To process refunds, artworks must be returned. Where applicable, we will arrange and cover the cost of return shipping.

Shipping

We coordinate professional packing and insured carrier pickup. Most orders are delivered within seven (7) to twenty-one (21) days from purchase, reflecting careful preparation, appointment-based logistics, and carrier scheduling (operational timing excludes weekends and official holidays). Commissioned or pre-ordered works may have different timelines communicated in advance.

Delivery windows are targets and not guarantees. Transit times depend on destination, service level, customs, weather, and carrier capacity. While third-party delays are outside our control, we actively monitor shipments and keep you informed. If shipping is materially delayed due to our error, please contact us so we can review options, which may include cancellation prior to dispatch or other equitable remedies.

Insurance

Every shipment from Belanger – The Collections is insured for the purchase value until successful delivery and is further protected by our Art Collectors Protection Program and Belanger Coverage, in addition to the carrier’s own insurance. If an item arrives damaged or not as described, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and retain all packaging; we will coordinate a replacement or full refund in line with our policy.

Taxes, Customs, and Duty Fees

Most artworks are shipped from the United States. Applicable taxes, customs, or duties are calculated at checkout where possible. Final amounts are determined by local authorities. You are responsible for paying any additional charges not collected at checkout.

Authenticity and Origin

Every artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and a Certificate of Origin, issued by the artist, their authorized representative, or a Belanger-accredited expert. These documents ensure your acquisition is genuine and documented.

Anti-Fraud Measures

To protect collectors and ensure secure transactions, Belanger – The Collections may conduct verification checks, particularly if payment and shipping addresses differ or other anomalies appear.

We partner with Stripe™ exclusively for secure payment processing. Belanger – The Collections remains your sole contractual counterpart for art acquisitions.

Belanger – The Collections reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page, and continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
