Are the artworks original and authenticated?
Yes. Every artwork we present is an original work, verified under Belanger Shipping & Authentication Protocols. Each acquisition includes a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and a Certificate of Origin.
Who issues the Certificate of Authenticity (COA)?
Only trusted artists, their verified representatives, established gallery directors, or recognized experts are authorized to issue COAs. We supervise partnerships under strict protocols to protect collectors.
What’s in the COA and the Certificate of Origin?
The COA confirms authenticity and ownership, with details on title, medium, dimensions, and the parties involved in verification. The Certificate of Origin expands on country of origin, materials used, and creation date. Select works may include additional security features (e.g., holograms, watermarks, unique identifiers).
How are payments processed? Is it secure?
We partner with Stripe™, the industry leader in online payments, for advanced encryption and fraud prevention. Transactions are verified and processed on Stripe’s secure infrastructure.
Do you store my credit card details?
No. Belanger – The Collections does not handle or store your card numbers or CVV. We retain only your name and billing address for order and documentation purposes.
Can payments be held or reversed?
Yes. For added protection, a transaction may be temporarily held for verification. When legitimate concerns arise, Belanger may reverse or reimburse payments in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and the Art Collectors Protection Program.
When will my order ship?
We aim to hand off artworks to the carrier within five (5) business days (excluding official holidays). Commissioned or pre-ordered works follow timelines communicated in advance.
How are artworks packed and shipped?
Museum-grade packing (flat, tube, or crate as appropriate), full-value insurance, real-time tracking, and signature on delivery are standard. White-glove options (including installation) may be available for qualifying destinations.
Is international shipping available?
Some artworks are eligible for international shipping through reputable carriers and art-logistics partners. Transit times depend on destination, service level, and customs processing.
Who pays customs duties and taxes?
Duties, taxes, and import fees are set by the destination country and are the recipient’s responsibility. Estimates may appear at checkout when available; final amounts are determined by your local authority. For U.S.–Canada shipments, USMCA rules may apply depending on the work and origin.
What should I do on delivery?
Inspect the packaging immediately. If damage or discrepancies are suspected, retain all packaging and photograph the exterior, interior, and the artwork. Contact us right away so we can initiate a claim under the Belanger Coverage and the Art Collectors Protection Program.
What if the artwork is damaged or not as described?
You may be eligible for an exchange or full refund. We’ll coordinate the claim and return shipping under the Belanger Coverage and the Art Collectors Protection Program.
How quickly are reimbursements issued?
Promptly and diligently, always within our Terms & Conditions and the Art Collectors Protection Program. We prioritize clear communication and fair resolution.
What happens if delivery is unreasonably delayed?
While carrier delays are outside our control, collectors may return unopened shipments for reimbursement in cases of unreasonable delay. If the delay is due to our error, you may request a refund or compensation.

Can I get personalized advice?
Yes. Complimentary art advisory and live support are available. We can tailor recommendations, coordinate white-glove services, or help with timelines and installation.
Do you use third-party analytics or share data with external platforms?
No. Our web and computing environment is isolated and fully anonymized from external trackers and ad networks. We do not use third-party analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics) or data brokers.
Who can access my data?
Access is strictly limited. Non-director staff may view only the minimum necessary (first name, city, shipping information; and for support, your email and phone). Directors and authorized officers may access additional data when required for legal, security, or operational reasons. Access is role-based and logged.
